Tricon constructed a building addition on the southwest side of the existing High School to provide an auditorium with seating for approximately 700 and associated support spaces. The auditorium addition was 22,700 square feet. The new addition connected to the southwest corner of the High School and adjacent to the existing band and vocal rooms. The orientation of the new auditorium allowed for a standalone public entrance on the southeast side. Student and faculty access from the High School to the Auditorium was created through the cafeteria/commons area.
