Continuing our working tradition with Menards, we were hired to construct their new 186,000 square foot retail store and 24,800 square foot warehouse at the Platteville Business Park. The retail complex was completed in just 21 weeks despite battling snow and bad soil at the start of construction. This took the effort of multiple subs working simultaneously with the work force reaching 85 workers completing $416,000 of work per week.
The building has precast exterior walls, steel structure, stone and brick veneer, single-sloping membrane roof, and mechanical roof top units. The 11 roof top units were set with a helicopter in 19 minutes. The completion of this project marks the 11th done with Menards.
