Tricon was the general contractor on this project consisting of 38,000 sq ft renovation to accommodate Kirkwood’s Automotive Technology program. Renovations included a 36-car shop area with car lifts, alignment equipment, snorkel exhaust system, CO and NO2 monitoring, Dynamometer room, student lounge, faculty offices, conference room, classrooms, mechanical mezzanine, and two equipment platforms. We also modified the exterior to have metal panel and curtain wall systems with exterior canopies. Tricon also had to do structural modifications to the pre-cast panels to allow for natural lighting to be implemented.
