SAFETY POLICY
Safety is serious business at Tricon Construction Group. Our goal is to be the industry leader in maintaining a safe and accident free workplace for all of our employees. We are committed to this goal. To achieve this goal, all of our employees work diligently to support and execute our company's policy for a safe and healthy workplace.
Our comprehensive health and safety program has been developed to assure clients that Tricon is in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. The safety and health guidelines that we have adopted are practical, reasonable and contribute toward the reduction of injuries without undue cost or delays.
We strive to keep our employees informed and educated through a comprehensive health and safety-training program. This program consists of an initial pre-employment safety orientation, weekly safety meetings at the job site, monthly safety committee meetings, annual safety training and periodic safety seminars. We believe it is the obligation of all employees to implement, abide by and to be knowledgeable of the guidelines and regulations of Tricon Construction Group and OSHA on each and every job site.
A safe operation is organized, clean, and efficient and creates a safe work place preventing accidents and project delays. Accidents, even minor ones, cause pain both physically and mentally, as well as the financial cost to both the employee and the company and ultimately the customer. Prevention of injury and illness is obviously a goal well worth our efforts.
Safety does not happen by chance.
